Xcel Cross-border Acceleration Program

• Xcel Capital is partnering with Red Leaf Capital and other designated entities for Canada’s Startup Visa Program. The Canada’s Start-Up Visa Program is the first of its kind worldwide. The program provides permanent residency to start-up entrepreneurs who have the potential to build innovative companies in Canada that can create new jobs, spur economic growth and compete on a global scale.
  
• Every year, Xcel Capital will select a small number of start-ups each year to join the Xcel Acceleration Program. We focus on helping the most promising start-ups to boost their business and quickly complete the phase of product-market fit so as to enter the stage of rapid development.
  
• The Xcel Acceleration Program lasts for 18 months. The purpose of the Program is to help start-ups who have huge potential and have achieved initial market validation in their home country, advance their development and consolidate their advantages in the domestic market. Based on what they have achieved, the Program also connects these top-notch start-ups to key resources in North America for their overseas expansion with regards to R&D, sales and market, operation management and corporate financing and many other fields. Doing so will help to create and realize cross-border synergy for the start-ups. We will work together with the start-up team to get through this core phase of company development.
  
• Each start-up is required to participate in the Xcel Acceleration Program and training to fully integrate into our well-built ecosystem. Founders’ full engagement in the Program is crucial for us to provide effective support. We will closely cooperate with the founding team to efficiently polish the start-up company to the best condition. We will empower start-ups with our resources and networks after the founding team is fully prepared. We aim to help start-ups realize a bilateral acceleration in the markets through the Xcel Acceleration Program.
  

Entrepreneurs will have access to resources as follows.

• Our international team and experts will work alongside the founding team to support industry analysis, market/competitiveness analysis, pricing strategy and industry regulation and various other related key research. Xcel Capital has access to strong market intelligence resources in North America. These resources can better help start-ups accurately identify their market value proposition.
  

• We will act as the financial advisor of the founding team to provide support in equity financing, debt financing, government grants application, international financing, and other financial related activities.
  

• Start-ups can have individual conversations with Partners of Xcel Capital during office hours to discuss specific ideas, challenges, corresponding solution, and many other business issues. Meanwhile, our industry experts in various fields will also provide start-ups with advice on related topics.
  

• We will empower our well-connected resources to help each start-up that joins our Xcel Acceleration Program to grow, and to develop partnership with key stakeholders including government institutions, commercial/business institutions, and industry upstream and downstream partners.
  

• We like to see a start-up with a validated business model, established IP or strong proprietary technology, strong traction in the form of year-over-year/month-over-month revenue, customer growth in your home country, a committed and solid founding team, have developed strategic expansion plan to demonstrate strategic value in bringing the business into Canada, and plan to scale in North America. You need a network of specialized supports that will help you scale your business, connect you to various business resources, and help you achieve your next business milestone.
